We will all be worse off if gerrymandering and other attacks on voting and voters go unchallenged. Grassroots organizing Statewide has mobilized Missourians against these attacks. We deserve a State Legislature that respects the will of the people, and our district deserves a representative who hears and amplifies our voices and represents our values in Jefferson City.

As your representative, I will fight for your bottom line, and that means keeping public money in the service of the public good. Proposals to eliminate income tax and raise sales taxes will put the biggest burdens on families with the lowest incomes. It's a handout for the rich, and it would be paid for by families like mine and yours. In Missouri, we will halt wealth transfers to corporate elites and private interests.

I graduated from Lafayette, and 27 years later my daughter graduated from Marquette. We both benefited from the kind of education every child in Missouri deserves, no matter what corner of the State they call home. But the Republican agenda for Missouri is taking funding from our public schools under a scam called "School Choice". I will protect public education for every child in our district and across the State.

Here in Missouri, Republican legislators are obsessed with controlling choices about your body. Voters in Missouri overturned the Legislature's abortion ban at the ballot box in 2024, and we can defeat their attacks again in 2026. I stand with the strong majority in our district that voted for our constitutional right to make these choices without government interference.
