Dear Subscriber First Name,

If you've only just gotten connected to my campaign, welcome! If you've been with us for a while already, welcome back! I'm glad you're part of this movement for change.

Every single person who joins this campaign means so much to me. I feel profoundly fortunate to have strong support from family, friends, colleagues, neighbors, community members, unions, advocacy organizations, the Democratic Party, and many other groups. The political power we are able to wield in this election will be a direct reflection of the strength of our coalition.

We all have different reasons to show up at this time and in this way, but our partnership rests on shared values and the shared conclusion that

1) We the people are entitled to a voice in our government;

2) The incumbent has failed in his duty to represent us;

3) We will fire the incumbent and elect Mary Ann Perkins, because she will be accountable to the people.

The intensity of campaign season is definitely rising as election day gets nearer. This past week we launched our first round of digital ads (yay!) - which will appear on our socials soon!

We also had our first media interview - which was exciting and terrifying - but Sara Fenske and her team were lovely to work with and you can catch the interview here.

We're proud to have the digital ads and the interview out there spreading the word, but the fact remains that the most effective way to reach voters is door to door canvassing. We need volunteers to canvass District 100. Even if you've never canvassed before, it's never too late to learn the ropes. Like anything else, it gets easier and easier with practice. We also need volunteers to send postcards and make phone calls.

We will also need many helpers on Election Day - we aim to place volunteers at every polling place in District 100 to greet voters and ask that they vote for Mary Ann Perkins. Every election day volunteer will be invited to attend our watch party on the night of Nov. 3, so please sign up today!
