Dear Subscriber First Name,

This past week, voters in District 100 received a mailer on behalf of the incumbent I'm running to unseat. It was paid for by a PAC in Texas set up by Betsy DeVos - a group that wants to give your tax dollars to private schools. They're in our mailboxes asking us to thank the incumbent, and that's because he votes the way they want him to.

Money can't be in two places at once, and when our representative votes for $60 million to fund private school vouchers it's our public schools pay the price. Missouri children deserve better than that. Here in District 100, we support our Rockwood and Parkway public schools, and we need a representative who gets that. We need a representative who votes more like us and less like his out-of-state backers.

BALLWIN DAYS 5K AND FUN RUN

Ballwin Days is the biggest community festival in District 100, and my campaign signed on early as a community sponsor. We also brought eight volunteers to support the Ballwin Days 5k and Fun Run. Decked out in our Perkins campaign t-shirts, we were visible all along the course as we helped out on race day.

CANVASSING AND VIRTUAL PHONE BANKING

Where there's a will, there's a way - and what we want is clear. We want the people of this district to have a voice in their government. We get there by reaching more voters, and we have increased our weekly canvassing events to include one week night, Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon. We have many wonderful volunteers who have knocked on thousands of doors already, but honestly, there aren't enough of us. We need more volunteers to reach critical voters who will decide the outcome of the election in November. If you're in the area and have the ability, we need you.

We also need volunteers for virtual phone banking - anyone can do it. All it takes the desire to flip this district from red to blue, an internet connection and a phone. If you are interested in phone banking, please reach out to Sydni, my campaign manager, to get you set up with everything you need to start making calls!
